Setting up a skewer: check (sacrifice)

In this lesson we try to get head and tail pieces of the defending side on the same line (line, row or diagonal) by giving check. Here, the check is accompanied by sacrifice. In the example we see how you can force an opposing piece onto an unfavorable square to set up a skewer.
